The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 standard is used in the early 1990s for healthy textile products of requirements and public activities. Negative headline news such as "Toxic Textiles" in the press were very common at that time and reflected the chemicals used in textile manufacturing in a general purpose negative and harmful to health.
However, our demands for modern textile products cannot be met without using certain chemicals. We will demand fashionable colors, easy maintenance, longevity and many other features in textile products and according to the purpose of use.
Until the OEKO-TEX® Standards are passed in accordance with the 100 standard, neither the product quality of the textile quality is evaluated for the human ecology nor the Textile and Clothing Sector, they have developed the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 standard.
